A FORMER Ringwood Secondary College student has proved she's got the look.
Alyce Farmer is the winner of the Be the Razzamatazz Girl competition.
Over 800 people entered the competition and the 19-year-old was announced the winner earlier this month.
Ms Farmer, who is studying business and design at Swinburne University, said the win was a shock. "I was shaking and crying when it was announced."
Ms Farmer has always dreamed of being a model. "I always wanted to be a model as soon as I knew what a model was."
Before entering the competition, Ms Farmer had some modelling experience, but that was mainly with friends and family members who were photographers.
She hopes the competition might open the door to a professional modelling career. "I really love being in front of the camera. It's just so much fun. I just have this massive smile on my face when I'm on set."
For now, Ms Farmer, of Boronia, will have her face on Razzamatazz pack designs. She also won a $5000 Westfield voucher.
"I think I got chosen because I have a girl-next-door look. I don't plaster myself in make-up. But stockings are my favourite accessory, for sure."
Now she's the face of Razzamatazz, Ms Farmer suggested clear nail polish for women to prevent ladders in their stockings.
Ms Farmer said her family and friends were extremely proud of her win. Her grandfather had joked she could be the next Miss Universe.
Ms Farmer's boyfriend, Ryan Harrop, was also happy with her win. "But she'll always be the same girl to me. She hasn't changed."
